Days like yesterday are what make me love my job as much as I do.
Josh and Allise decided rather last minute that they wanted to elope to the beauty of Colorado. Escaping the stress and logistics of wedding planning and heading to the Rocky Mountains sounded like the perfect plan. I personally couldn’t have agreed more! It’s so easy to get caught up in everything that surrounds weddings, that sometimes it just makes more sense to get away from it all. Sometimes you just have to get back to what really matters. Back to what your wedding day should really be about…love, intimacy, vows, fun, peace and enjoying quality time together.
Allise and Josh chose to have their ceremony officiated by a very kind and wonderful judge in Denver (he happened to share their same wedding anniversary, what a great sign!). After that, we headed for the hills and spent our time exploring some of Rocky Mountain National Park’s most beautiful areas together. It was so peaceful as we walked along the shore of the Big Thompson River. We admired the wildflowers, the beautiful cloud formations, the soft breeze and mild weather. It was such an enjoyable evening!
Josh and Allise, thank you so much for spending the day with me! I was so honored to have been there with you guys and to have witnessed such a big day in your lives. I’m so glad you chose to come to Colorado and I hope that you enjoy the rest of your time exploring RMNP! I wish you a lifetime of adventure and joy. Blessing!
